nevergiveup-283to140:

Even though I won’t hit the year mark until the last week in May, my birthday last year was a very significant part of my journey as its what encouraged me to start. I had family and friends take me out to celebrate the big 21 and so I ate out for 2 weeks straight and drank my way into a very unhealthy 283. I couldn’t fit into any of the cocktail dresses I tried on and felt miserable. I wanted to show a birthday comparison really for me because somedays I wake up and still feel like the old me just smaller. But then I put these pictures side by side and can’t believe how far I’ve come. As my body is slowing down I may not hit the 140 in less then 2 months but I am so proud of myself and was truly happy in that size M dress (that was actually too big- sorry for the cleavage lol). In less then 1 year I completely changed my life and so can you. I hope my story is proof that once you make the decision to change- anything is possible. No matter what the scale says love yourself for where you are right at this very moment and everything else will fall into place. Stay positive!

PLEASE NOTE THAT MUSCLE TAKES UP LESS SPACE BUT WEIGHS MORE. Don’t worry about the number on the scale, ever.

My two month progress! As you can see, i gained two pounds, but i’m much more toned now. This is what two months of weight lifting looks like. I don’t look bulky, or like a guy. I’m SO sick of hearing “lifting weights is going to make me bulky”, when in reality it makes you much more lean.
So if you want to get toned and lose fat, i recommend you start picking up weights

I just realized eating crap for 3 months made me nearly as fat as i was 2 years ago. Gained 6kgs and even worse: Back to 57 cms thighs, kill me please. Hope this was a wake up call for me :(
